FuelBox declared the winner of Indiegogo’s Maker Challenge!!

FuelBox launched its first product, the powerStation™ on May 31st,2014 on the crowdfunding websiteIndiegogo to an enthusiastic response. Team FuelBox was looking to raise $50,000, however in less than six weeks FuelBox successfully raised $71,000, more than 142 percent of its fundraising goal! In addition, FuelBox was featured on Indiegogo’s newsletter twice. The newsletter highlights the most interesting and innovative campaigns on their crowdfunding site.

To make things sweeter, the FuelBox campaign was entered into Indiegogo’s “Maker Challenge.” The “Maker Challenge,” is part of President Barack Obama’s White House program to encourage U.S.-based technology development and manufacturing, and promote innovation and entrepreneurship on the crowdfunding website. The competition is sponsored by Amazon & Autodesk and had more than 50 contestants competing for the award. Well, we are extremely excited to announce that FuelBox has been declared the winner of Indiegogo’s Maker Challenge!
